FAQs: System Info of Codec

How can we tell when the firmware was released?

The firmware version number often contains information that indicates when it was released. For example, "V3.00.52.220921," the information can be interpreted as follows:
  1. "V3.00.52" comprises the main version number and subversion number.
  2. "220921" represents the release date, presented as YYMMDD (Year, Month, Day).
Based on this interpretation, the firmware version "V3.00.52.220921" would suggest that it was released on September 21, 2022. If it's required to download the latest firmware, please go to FAQs: Download Firmware for Codec.
