How to make the records files or snapshot upload into FTP server after FTP connection well?
Q1: I have set up the connection between the camera with the FTP server and tested the connection well. But there is no records files or snapshot uploaded into the FTP server?
A: Please check the below settings which are related with the FTP upload settings:
Please be noted that it is necessary that there should be SD card installed in the camera if you want to make video files upload into the FTP server. It’s no need if only for snapshot upload.
Please set FTP upload working schedule as below.
Please connect the cameras in the same LAN network with your PC, after then if you did not know the IP address of the camera, please install and run Device Manager tool which supports both Windows PC and Mac system. After running the Device Manager Tool, the cameras can be found automatically in tool and right click the camera to open it by the browser.
Or if you know the camera’s IP address, please open any browser, and fill out his IP address as below:
Please enable the FTP upload working schedule as your like. And then click “save” to make the settings effective.
Please be noted that you should enable record and snapshot as well as below. Please come to “configuration -> Storage -> Schedule” page, and in the tab “Record” and “Snapshot” to set records and snapshot parameters and working schedule.
