1. Product Overview

The 5GD‑S‑N52G is a 5G USB dongle built around the Quectel RM520N‑GL 5G Sub‑6 GHz industrial‑grade module. It adopts an M.2‑to‑USB 3.1 solution, integrates a Nano SIM slot, and features four built‑in FPC antennas – no external antennas are required. Users simply plug the dongle into a computer’s USB port, install the appropriate drivers, and configure the APN if necessary, to gain high‑speed 5G/4G/3G connectivity.

This product does not include Wi‑Fi functionality; it serves as a pure cellular‑access device. The plastic enclosure makes it lightweight and cost‑effective, ideal for office, home, and mobile working environments.

6. APN Configuration Guide (Important)

If the dongle does not automatically connect after inserting a Nano SIM, the most common cause is an incorrect or missing APN (Access Point Name). This is especially true for foreign operators – manual APN setting is often required.

Configuration steps (Windows example):

1. Open Network & Internet Settings → Dial‑up → Set up a new connection → Dial‑up connection.
2. Leave the dial‑up number blank or enter *99# (depending on carrier).
3. Leave username and password blank (most carriers do not require them).
4. If connection fails, go to Advanced settings → Network adapters → locate the cellular connection and enter the APN manually.
