Configuring policy settings to allow the wired network and Wi-Fi network to be online at the same time on a Windows system involves some additional steps. You can follow the steps below to enable this configuration:
  1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.
  2. Type "gpedit.msc" in the Run dialog box and press Enter. This will open the Local Group Policy Editor.
  3. In the Local Group Policy Editor, navigate to the following path: Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Network > Windows Connection Manager.
  4. In the Windows Connection Manager folder, look for the policy setting named "Minimize the number of simultaneous connections to the Internet or a Windows Domain." Double-click on it to open the settings.
  5. Select the "Enabled" option.
  6. In the "Options" section, choose "Allow Wi-Fi and Ethernet to work at the same time."
  7. Click on Apply and then OK to save the changes.
  8. After making these changes, restart your computer to apply the new policy settings.
Following these steps will enable both the wired network and Wi-Fi network to be active at the same time, allowing you to use both connections simultaneously. Keep in mind that the steps provided above are specifically for the Windows operating system and may not apply to other operating systems. Please see screenshot for your reference.
