Preview

  1. Start a browser like IE, Chrome, Firefox (Chrome Recommended);
  2. Enter the IP address you configured above via IPCManager;
  3. Enter username (admin) and password (12345 by default);
  4. Click “Login” and the Preview page opens in your browser


🧙TIPS:
  1. It's easier to switch video stream between main stream and sub stream by clicking "HD" and "SD" on the bottom page of Live View.
  2. If you are experiencing a black screen without showing video loss, it could be related to the video encoding settings. All you have to do is to change the video encoding format from H.265 to H.264, then it'll be back online on this page of preview. H.265 is not supported for preview in Chrome. If H.265 encoding is required for streaming video, it's okay to pull an RTSP stream into VLC player.

What's VLC Player?

VLC media player is known for its robust support for a wide range of audio and video codecs, including support for H.265 (HEVC) video decoding. If H.265 encoding is required for streaming video, VLC media player is well-equipped to handle RTSP (Real Time Streaming Protocol) streams encoded with H.265.
