Yes, it is possible to switch the system mode, subject to the following conditions:
- Depending on the models and their capabilities, the ability to switch system modes may vary. Some models may support this feature, while others may not.
- If the system supports it and you desire to experience 60fps (frames per second), you can switch the system mode by following these steps:
- Navigate to Setting: Access the system settings by locating the "Settings" option in the menu of the encoder.
- Access System Settings: Within the settings menu, look for the "System Settings" option.
- From the dropdown list, choose "System Mode"
- Change the setting from 1080P@25/30+D1@25/30 to 1080P@50/60 (1080P Encoder) or 1*2160P@25/30+D1@25/30 to 1*1080P@50/60 (4K Encoder).
- After making this change, the system will reboot. Keep in mind that there will only be one main stream available to use after this change.
It's important to note that the ability to switch system modes and the available options may differ based on the specific model and its capabilities. It's also recommended to ensure that the system is capable of supporting the desired mode before making any changes.
How can I stream at 50fps or 60fps using an HDMI encoder?
If it only gives you 25 or 30fps, then it's necessary to switch the system mode to support 50 or 60fps if available. Go to Setting->System Setting->Select "System Mode" from the dropdown list: 2*1080P@25/30+D1@25/30 to 1*1080P@50/60 and reboot the encoder to make it valid:

What might be the reason for the unsuccessful live video streaming at 50 frames per second after switching the system mode?
Here are some considerations especially when it's a 4K encoder and the objective is to stream at 1080p at 60fps:
- Ensure that the input resolution of HDMI is 1920 * 1080P at 60Hz. If not, it's important to verify the refresh rate is set to 60Hz.
- Set the frame rate to 60 frames per second for the video stream by navigating to Video/Audio->Video->Framerate.
How can we test the frame rate of the stream
Typically, we recommend playing the RTSP stream using PotPlayer, then right-clicking the mouse and choosing Playback/System Info to view the real frames per second.
Device Name
How can I change the device name for my HDMI encoder?
To change the device name of your HDMI encoder, follow these steps:
- Access Settings: Go to the Settings menu on your HDMI encoder.
- Navigate to System: Select System, then choose System Settings.
- Edit Device Name: Find the Device Name field, enter your desired name.
- Save Changes: Click on Save to apply the new name.
After saving, verify that the new device name is displayed correctly.
Boot Logo

What are the requirements for uploading a boot logo?
To upload a boot logo, please adhere to the following requirements:
- File Format: Only JPG images are accepted.
- File Size: The image must be less than 64 KB.
- Resolution: The image resolution should be 1024 x 768 pixels.
Make sure your image meets these criteria to ensure successful uploading.

How can I replace the image of video loss?
To replace the image of video loss and customize the display in the system setting, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Setting: Access the system settings by locating the "Settings" option in the menu of the encoder.
- Access System Settings: Within the settings menu, look for the "System Settings" option. Click on it to access the settings related to the system configurations and display options.
- Select "Browse": Look for an option labeled "Browse" within the system settings related to video display or error messages.
- Choose Replacement Image: Click on the "Browse" button and select an image from your computer to replace the default image that indicates video loss. This image should be clear and easily understandable to convey the message effectively. And it should be in JPG<128K & 1280*720.
- Upload Image: Click on the "Upload" button and it'll reboot automatically to apply the changes.
- Verify the Change: Check the updated display to ensure that the replacement image for video loss is now being used after rebooting.

Why is the default HDMI output resolution set to 1920x1080P@60Hz on my 4K encoder?
