Info
🧙Tips: please ensure the IP camera and your PC are on the same network segment if it’s connected to the same router. That’s why it’s recommended to use DHCP to obtain IP address to make it for sure.

Access Camera from a Browser

  1. Start a browser like IE, Chrome, Firefox (Chrome Recommended);
  2. Enter the IP address you configured above via IPCManager;
  3. Enter username (admin) and password (12345 by default);
  1. Click “Login” and the Live View page opens in your browser

Adjust Focus

  1. 1 means Zoom Out: long press until you think it ok.
  2. 2 means Zoom In: long press until you think it ok.
  3. 3 means Reset: reset to default focus if you wrongly zoom in/out.

Configure Parameters of Audio

  1. Go to Configuration-->Video & Audio-->Audio-->Audio
  2. Click checkbox to “Enable audio”; Audio codec format set as “AAC”;
  3. Sampling rate set as “24000” or higher;
  4. Input volume set as “39” or so(Reference Value: users can log into GUI and set sampling rate as 24000 or higher if better voice quality is required because the default sampling rate here is 8000.)

Configure Parameters of Video

  1. Go to Configuration-->Video & Audio-->Video-->Video
  2. Bit rate set as 500(Reference Value: users can set higher bit rate to remove mosaic but it should be matched to your network bandwidth because of uplink bandwidth used.)
  3. Key interval set as 10(Reference Value: users can set lower key interval to get better image quality.)

Configure RTMP Address

  1. Go to Configuration-->Network-->RTMP-->RTMP-->Enable(True)
  2. Enter Push URL: copy Stream URL and Stream Key from YouTube Studio into column of Push URL below:

YouTube Studio

Go back to YouTube Studio after setting RTMP PUSH URL. After setting the RTMP PUSH URL for live streaming to YouTube, you can check if the stream is live in YouTube Studio. If the stream appears to have failed, consider the following steps for troubleshooting:
  1. Verify that the audio is enabled and set to use AAC encoding, as YouTube requires specific audio formats for live streaming.
  2. Confirm that the video encoding is set to H.264, as RTMP (Real-Time Messaging Protocol) doesn't support H.265 encoding.
  3. Verify that the bitrate is appropriately set. It may be necessary to adjust the bitrate, especially if it's initially set too high, as this can impact the streaming quality and stability.
  4. Check the default DNS settings to ensure they are available and functional, especially in the EU. Consider changing the DNS settings if needed.
  5. Verify that there's sufficient uploading bandwidth available for the live stream. If bandwidth is limited, adjusting the bitrate to a lower value can help ensure a more stable stream.
After performing these checks and adjustments, you can attempt to go back to YouTube Studio and verify if the live stream is successful. It's important to review the settings and configurations to ensure that all components are optimized for live streaming to YouTube.
