How to Configure Snapshot Settings on IPC Cameras: Capture & Save Images | Network Camera

Snapshot

  1. Go to Configuration->Video & Audio->Snapshot

Explanation

  1. Quality: This dropdown box allows the user to select image quality. Quality is adjusted on a scale of 1-7. 
  2. Frame rate: This dropdown box allows the user to select the MJPEG frame rate. Frame rate is adjusted from 1-5 FPS. 
  3. Interval: This is to set snapshot frequency. The value ranges from 1 to 600 seconds. 
  4. Stream: This dropdown box allows the user to select a snapshot of the stream: mainstream or substream. 
  5. MJPEG-HTTP: it shows the MJPEG-HTTP streame URL. For testing object, the user can use the example URL like the below if the user did not login the camera’s web interface: http://192.168.1.120/action/stream?subject=mjpeg&user=admin&pwd=12345
  6. Snapshot URL: it shows the MJPEG snapshot HTTP URL. Normally the user need use the example URL like below if the user did not login the web interface: http://192.168.1.120/action/snap?cam=0&user=admin&pwd=12345. The IP address, User and Password showing in the above URL are factory default. Please use IPC's current IP address, user name and password to replace the content.
  7. Restore Default: Restore the values to default setting. 
  8. Refresh: Refresh the display of the settings’ value. 
  9. Save: Save the setting.
