LTE Router Upgrade Procedure via Telnet (Forced Upgrade Method)

Preparation Steps:
1. Assign the IP address 192.168.8.10 to your computer.
2. Disable the firewall on your computer to avoid interference during the process.
3. Rename the upgrade file to farm.upgrade.
4. Place the farm.upgrade file in the same directory as tftpd32.exe and run tftpd32.exe.
Upgrade Steps:
5. Power on the LTE router and wait for it to complete the boot process.
6. Enable Telnet on the router by navigating to the management webpage at 192.168.8.1. Under the Applications section, find and enable Telnet.
7. Open an administrator command prompt on your computer.
8. Type telnet 192.168.8.1 and press Enter to connect to the router via Telnet.
9. Log in with the router's username and password when prompted.
Firmware Upgrade Commands:
10. Enter elf and press Enter to switch to upgrade mode.
11. Type cd /tmp and press Enter to navigate to the temporary directory.
12. Type tftp -g -r farm.upgrade 192.168.8.10 and press Enter to transfer the upgrade file to the router.
13. Type mtd write farm.upgrade firmware and press Enter to write the firmware upgrade to the device.
14. Type he machine.default and press Enter to reset the router's settings to default.
Final Step:
15. Wait for the router to reboot. Once the reboot is complete, the upgrade process is finished.
Note: Ensure you follow the steps carefully to avoid issues during the upgrade process.
