Modify Wi-Fi Channels for 1080P Extender

Modifying Wi-Fi Channels to Avoid Interference

When using multiple sets of devices at the same location, interference or wireless signal issues may occur. To resolve this, users can modify the Wi-Fi transmission channel.

Steps to Modify Wi-Fi Channel:

1. Log in to the Transmitter’s Backend

  1. Open Google Chrome and enter the transmitter’s management IP address: 192.168.1.166, then press Enter.

2. Access the Network Configuration Page

  1. Click “System Config”, then select “Network Config”.

3. Change the Wi-Fi Channel

  1. Adjust the Wi-Fi channel to a different value as shown in the interface.
Notes
NOTES:
  1. You only need to modify the transmitter's channel, as the receiver will automatically follow the transmitter's channel.
  2. Ensure that each set of devices operates on a unique Wi-Fi channel to minimize interference and improve signal transmission.
  3. For 100M 1080P extender, it is not recommended to change the Wi-Fi channel, as doing so may shorten the transmission distance.
