Modify Output Resolution of RX for 1080P Extender

Modify Output Resotution of Receiver

The default output resolution of the 4K receiver (RX) is set to 1080P. If a 4K resolution output is required, manual modification is necessary.

Method 1: Using the "RST" Button

  1. Press and hold the "RST" button on the RX (receiver) for about 2 seconds to switch the output resolution. Observe the display monitor. When the resolution changes to 3840x2160, the 4K resolution is enabled.
Notes
NOTES: The button on the receiver only allows switching between 1080P and 720P resolutions. For other resolutions, such as 4K, configuration must be done through the backend.

Log in to the RX (receiver) backend to manually change the output resolution.

Steps to Log in and Modify the Output Resolution

  1. The default IP address for the receiver's backend is 192.168.1.167.
  2. Open Google Chrome and enter 192.168.1.167 in the address bar, then press Enter.
  3. Access the backend interface, follow the steps shown on the interface to modify the resolution, and select 3840x2160 for 4K output.
  4. After completing the modification, click the "SET UP" button at the bottom to save the settings.
