IR Remote Control Usage of 1080P Extender

IR Remote Control Usage Guide

Notes
NOTES: The extender does not include a remote control; it only transmits IR signals.
If you need to control remote devices (e.g., DVD players or TV set-top boxes), our device supports the transmission of IR signals.
Example: Using the remote control on the receiver side to control a remote set-top box:
  1. Insert the supplied IR emitter into the IR OUT port on the transmitter (TX).
  2. Ensure the IR emitter is placed directly in front of the IR sensor of the set-top box.
Important Notes:
  1. Only IR remote controls are supported; Bluetooth remote controls are not.
To identify an IR remote:
  1. IR remotes usually have a transparent LED at the front and require line-of-sight with the device for operation.
  2. Bluetooth remotes lack a front LED and do not require line-of-sight, as they can operate in any direction.
