  1. Use Alternative Video Players: Instead of relying on Flash, consider using alternative video players that support H.265 encoding. There are many modern video players like VLC, PotPlayer and streaming platforms that are compatible with H.265 and can display the video content without issues.
  2. Switch to H.264 format: If possible, consider switching video encoding to H.264 format, which is supported by Flash. To make it, go to Setting->Video/Audio->Video->Change Codec type from H.265 to H.264.
  3. Upgrade to Latest Firmware: if you're using our new hardware but still old firmware, then try to upgrade this encoder to the latest firmware which supports H.265 Preview.
It's important to note that the best approach will depend on your specific use case and technical requirements. Consider consulting with a web developer or video encoding specialist for the most suitable solution.

The "Video Loss" message typically appears when the encoder is unable to detect any video input from the connected source especially when it's showing 1920x1080@30HZ in the page of system status. The recommended troubleshooting steps provided are aimed at resolving this issue. Here's an explanation of why "Video Loss" occurs and the steps to address it:
  1. No Video Source Detection: The "Video Loss" message indicates that the encoder was unable to detect any video input, resulting in a blank or black screen in the output. This can occur due to issues such as a loose cable connection, signal interference, or malfunctioning video source.
  2. Troubleshooting Steps:
  3. a. Power Off the Encoder: Turning off the encoder can help reset its internal settings and potentially resolve any temporary issues.
  4. b. Clean HDMI Connectors: Dust, debris, or oxidation on the HDMI connectors can hinder proper signal transmission. Cleaning the connectors with industrial alcohol can help ensure a clean and reliable connection.
  5. c. Re-plug the HDMI Cable: Reconnecting the HDMI cable after cleaning the connectors can help establish a secure and stable connection between the video source and the encoder.
  6. d. Power On the Encoder: Once the HDMI cable is reconnected, powering on the encoder can allow it to detect the video source and establish a proper signal connection.
  7. e. Verify Video Source Detection: After performing the above steps, check if the encoder successfully detects the video source and displays the correct resolution and frame rate settings.

  5. Upload Image: Click on the "Upload" button and it'll reboot automatically to apply the changes.
